Nuland Arrives to Ukraine to Give Poroshenko Marching Orders Prior to Elections | Analysis & Opinion | RIA Novosti

The Invisible Opportunity: Hidden Truths Revealed

WASHINGTON, October 6 (RIA Novosti) – US Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland’s visit to Kiev came ahead of parliamentary elections in Ukraine so that the top US official could give her “marching orders” to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law Francis Boyle said.

Boyle points out that “Nuland certainly is not over there to promote democracy: there are elections coming up in Ukraine toward the end of the month, but clearly these are “Potemkin’s village” elections simply to enable the Obama administration to say there is a democratically elected government and parliament, while no one in Donbas is voting and there’s already been lustration applied to prevent any of the opposition to vote.”

“Nuland, who is responsible for the coup d’état against former president Yanukovich and for bringing Petro Poroshenko in power, is not interested in establishing democracy in…

When kidnappings are justified

When kidnappings are justified

Perhaps someone will find this article interesting, but…

It was well-known before, that on the territories under Kiev’s control, people were simply disappeared and nobody cared about it. Police even didn’t try to investigate a numerous reports submitted by relatives. But the fact that civilians will be kidnapped to be exchanged later on captives, became known only now, in the light of the current exchange of captives between Ukrainian military forces and militia on the east.

As it turned out, the number of Ukrainian soldiers in captivity of militia is considerably higher than the number of captured soldiers of militia in captivity of Ukrainian army. Since the exchange is based on the formula 1:1 to liberate a hundred of Ukrainian soldiers is necessary to provide the same quantity of captives to another side. But where you can get a missing quantity if you don’t have enough? Very simple – on the streets, just look around! People were forcibly detained and imprisoned by fictitious accusations knowing in advance that they will be exchanged on captured Ukrainian soldiers. Cynically? Yes. Inhumanely? Yes. But who said that present government in Kiev is full of honest and decent people? Moreover, conditions in which captives are held by both parties are completely disparate.  Captured Ukrainian soldiers are kept in quite comfortable conditions, they have good nourishment and medical care. And what we see how the captives of militia are treated in Ukrainian captivity? People returning haggard, exhausted. Many were tortured. Many underwent acts of violence to give false statements which later planned to use on Ukrainian mass media as proof of the participation of Russian troops in Ukraine.

Well… actually I personally do not see anything surprising in the fact that the Ukrainian militaries and officers of SBU (secret service) kidnaps civilians. They have someone to learn from, since their american advisors and instructors, who presently occupies the entire fourth floor of SBU building in Kiev, have an extensive experience in such cases.

A fibber in the Ministry of Defense

UKRAINE, KIEV 20 September

Returning from Poland the Ukrainian Defense Minister Valeriy Geletey said to accompanying journalist that Russian armed forces have caused two hits by tactical nuclear weapons on the airport of Lugansk.

Soon, adviser to the Minister of Home Affairs Anton Gerashchenko rushed to criticize this statement.

«The Minister of Defense either mistaken, or doesn’t know much about difference between ordinary and nuclear weapons. Why make such statements, which are easy to double-check and refute?! As a result, we are ridiculed both in Russia and around the world. Unfortunately, we got used to this» – summed up Gerashchenko.

The most interesting is what Mr. Geletey drank in Poland? But if seriously, regular excuses of Geletey about failure of punitive operation on the east, allegedly due to Russian armed forces, already resemble to paranoia, that’s why none of adequate people apprehend him seriously for a long time.

Perhaps it is here that the Ukrainian Minister of Defence shows a huge nuclear bomb that was dropped by Russians on airport in Lugansk.

Ray McGovern

An interesting interview with Ray McGovern. Highly recommended to everyone who is interested in geopolitics or simply want to know the opinion of clever man. A profound knowledge of the question from the inside.

McGovern served as a CIA analyst under seven presidents from John F. Kennedy to George H.W. Bush, and prepared the President’s Daily Brief for Ronald Reagan’s most senior national security advisers from 1981 to 1985. Fluent in German and Russian, he was stationed in West Germany as a CIA liaison officer.

On the eve of the NATO summit earlier this month, CIA veteran Ray McGovern, NSA whistleblower William Binney and five other intelligence colleagues sent an open letter to Angela Merkel, “briefing” her about the situation in Ukraine: reminding the German chancellor of the precedent of the Iraq War 12 years ago, they urge her not to trust the “fixed intelligence” presented by the US State Department and NATO officials. There is no evidence of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.

As the civil war rages on killing hundreds of civilians and displacing thousands of others, the self-dubbed Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity point out that the US and NATO are stoking the flames of a new confrontation with Russia through shameless media propaganda, reminiscent of a time they know something about: the Cold War.

Ban for freedom of speech in Ukraine

«Give me control over the mass media and I will do a herd of pigs from any people» (Joseph Goebbels – Minister of propaganda in Nazi Germany)

The member of the Ukrainian National Television and Radio Council, Olga Gerasimyuk, explained to Ukrainians what the freedom of speech means.

«Objectivity must be not in presence of so-called «two different points of view» For example, journalists show on the air Putin. They motivate it that viewers must know his opinion, though opinion of the aggressor is already known. This is not the issue of censorship. We’ve got the freedom of speech, but still didn’t realize its essence»
